Expanded system versatility for precise labeling
The E in the Weber Legi-Air 4050E autolabel is the first letter of the word “Enhanced” which means enhanced. The Legi-Air 4050E system is characterized by its system versatility based on its modular configuration. This design consists of a label feeding module, a printing module, a label winder, an unwinder, a tamp pad and several types of applicators. The standard supply module is equipped with a “Quick-Change” system that greatly reduces the time to switch to other label formats.

The Legi-Air 4050E can print labels in sizes from 10 x 5 mm to 180 x 300 mm and supply up to 210 labels per minute when using the blow box method. To optimize logistics, in particular, the Legi-Air 4050E offers a choice of RFID printing modules that support existing RFID standards.

The two-stage vacuum system for label transfer and feeding facilitates flexible adaptation to different label materials (hard, soft) and ensures process reliability during labeling. An accurate vacuum system is required to ensure safe label transfer and good label application to the tamp pad. Thanks to the electronic vacuum and pressure measurement system from Festo Pneumatics, the Legi-Air 4050E can supply labels with maximum precision and speed.

The swivel applicator improves labeling accuracy in various label positions and labeler mounting positions. The removable display controller makes it quick and easy to use user texts and stored system parameters.

Flexible control or system networking ensures existing standard interfaces such as Ethernet, serial and parallel data connections and USB.
